Description: Dr Pauline Connolly joined the Institute of Leadership in January 2014 as a Senior Lecturer/Programme Director, coming from the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation where she held a senior management role. From 2007 to 2013 she was employed as a specialist in Leadership & Management, delivering executive development and leadership programmes to a wide range of senior public sector managers, as well as providing organizational and team consultancy. Prior to that Pauline was employed as a lecturer in the Business faculty of Griffith College Dublin. Pauline brings extensive international experience having lived and worked in the UK and Australia. She has lectured in South Korea at Sookmyung Women?s University as a Visiting Professor and delivered leadership programmes to government ministers and heads of government in Lesotho. Pauline gained an honours Social Science degree from University College Dublin, a Masters from Queens University Belfast, a Graduate Diploma in Public Sector Management from the University of Technology Sydney, a postgraduate Diploma in Personnel from Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and her PhD was gained from the National College of Ireland under the supervision of Dr Freda Donoghue from the School of Nonprofit Management in the Business Faculty of Trinity College Dublin. Pauline has published widely in peer reviewed international and national journals. She is co-editor of a book and has contributed chapters to books on a range of topics from entrepreneurship to hospitality management. Pauline is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is a trained Workplace Mediator and is accredited for the Myers Briggs Typology Inventory (MBTI).
