The Institute of Leadership RCSI welcomed 46 Postgraduate students to MSc Leadership 2014-2016.

September 24th 2014 marked the first day of direct course contact for MSc Leadership 2014-2016 participants at the Institute of Leadership RCSI.  Sibéal Carolan MSc Leadership Programme Director  said “I am delighted to see a strong inter-professional group undertaking the programme, we have representation from the public sector and the independent sector.  The group profile includes Registered Midwives and Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Medical Staff and Support staff – this leads to collaborative learning and networking.

Professor Ciarán O’ Boyle, Director of the Institute said “The MSc Leadership programme facilitates the personal and professional development of participants to increase their capacity to fulfil supervisory, managerial and leadership roles in the healthcare environment. It develops the ability to challenge assumptions and to question values, beliefs and policies underpinning change and healthcare management, at individual and organisational levels.
