Guest Presentation MSc Leadership Programme
The Institute of Leadership welcomed Ms Sharon Morrow Chief Executive Officer, LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice to present to MSc Leadership 2014 as part of a module titled Leading Change. The MSc Leadership Programme is a 2 year programme which facilitates the personal and professional development of participants to increase their capacity to fulfil managerial and leadership roles in healthcare environments and related industries.
Sharon’s presentation focused on her viewpoint of change and leadership in relation to her current role and strategy as well as her experience from various projects at an organizational level and at a national level.
Programme participant Tracey Brady from Tallaght Hospital said “It was great to see Sharon- we worked together inTallaght Hospital, her talk was very engaging and it was interesting to hear her viewpoints on change and leadership. Her presentation really focused on the importance of people in relation to the change process”
The programme has forty four participants including two staff members form Laura Lynn Hospice; Blaize Whelan and Jacqui Ellis.
