Prof Peile, University of Warwick, teaches on MSc in Leadership in Health Professions Education, Dubai
We were delighted to welcome Prof Peile, Professor Emeritus in Medical Education, University of Warwick, to the Masters in Leadership in Health Professions Education programme. Professor Peile, who is a Fellow of three Royal Medical Colleges in the UK, was awarded the 2009 President’s Medal of the Academy of Medical Educators for his lifetime achievement in medical education. He has led clinical education at the University of Warwick and the University of Exeter in the UK. He has now retired from clinical practice but continues to mentor senior clinical educators, and he conducts appraisals for UK doctors and clinical leaders.
Dr. Pauline Connolly, Program Director, said that the students benefited enormously to have someone with such experience in both clinical work and medical education.
