MSc Leadership 2015-2017 welcomed Sarah McCormack, National Programme Lead, Healthy Ireland, HSE.

Sarah provided an overview of the Healthy Ireland Project – which draws on existing policies, but proposes new arrangements to ensure effective co-operation and collaboration across Government, the health system and other relevant areas. It is about each individual sector helping to improve health and wellbeing, multiplying both our efforts and our results.

Class participants Fiona Maye, Occupational Therapist at NRH and Aine O’ Brien Physiotherapy Manager, Tallaght Hospital said “ The presentation was really good and the HI project is a great opportunity for healthcare staff at all levels to get involved. It’s a leadership opportunity.

Sarah Mc Cormack is a graduate of RCSI, Institute of Leadership, MSc Leadership 2014 and her project for Year 2 focussed on the introduction of calories posting in HSE Dr Steeven's Hospital, Dublin.
