89 graduates conferred at the Dublin ceremony

Eighty-nine students graduated from the RCSI Institute of Leadership Masters Degree programmes at the Convention Centre Dublin on Thursday, 17th November 2016. Professor Cathal Kelly, Chief Executive, RCSI said that "the conferring ceremony is one of the highlights of the College calendar and the Faculty and staff in RCSI take great satisfaction and pride in [the achivements of students]". Professor John Hyland President, RCSI highlighted to the graduands that the qualification that they were receiving "is highly regarded wherever you choose to practice as healthcarte professionals". At the ceremony Professor Aine Hyland was awarded the RCSI Honary Doctorate Award for the signifcant contribution that she has made to education both in Ireland and internationally. The conferring ceremony was closed by Dr. Maurice Manning, Chancellor of the NUI invited graduands to "maintain the common bond you now share with the community of NUI graduates - a community that is sustained through a spirit of welcome and support for fellow graduates across social and professional contexts". The RCSI congratulates all graduands and wish them every success in their bright and exciting futures.
